Not all pricing is published. Some AI tools use dynamic pricing, negotiation mechanics, or time-limited promotions that can significantly reduce your first-month cost—if you know how they work.

What this is: Documented pricing mechanics that require specific actions to unlock. Not standard published pricing. Not evergreen free tiers. Actual deals you can negotiate or claim.

Offer status to verify

Claude cloud credit — new claims unverified: the offer record retains the announced October 7 claim date without a published cutoff timezone. The October 7 claim-page check returned HTTP 403, which does not prove closure or availability. It is withheld from Active Deals. Existing claimants should check their account’s spending expiry separately; the claim deadline is not a credit-expiry date.

TypeSafe $5 signup credit — historical/account-specific, current availability unconfirmed: the owner reports automatic $5 after signup with Gmail, but supplied no signup date. That does not establish a Gmail requirement, recurring credit or new-account eligibility. The September 20 launch announcement advertised $5; the September 27 notice ended free credits for new signups. No later restoration was verified in the October 8 check. MCA section 8.2 makes promotional credit discretionary, permits additional terms including expiry, and spends it before purchased credit. The official announcement texts were retrieved from X’s first-party syndication records; the X webpages could not be opened. This stays outside Active Deals. The recorded inbox example owns the dated account report, calculated token value and unknown promotional debit. Measured usage does not establish signup eligibility.

Historical Mechanics

• Claude Code weekly boost — ended: Anthropic’s updated terms, checked September 14, say the 50% promotion ended September 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. Our August snapshot listed August 31; it is no longer an active offer.

• Kimi Code via Kimmmmy — The February haggling page remains dated history. The mechanic and old prices were not confirmed in the August 20 live review and are not an Active Deal.

First-Month Bonuses

Signup offers that provide extra value for new subscribers.

• ChatGPT Desktop referral offers — Benefits and eligibility vary by account and offer. Use the extra Codex usage guide; AIHackers publishes no OpenAI referral link.
• Z.AI GLM Coding invite discount — Official invite rules currently list a 10% first-order GLM Coding discount for eligible invited users; checkout controls the final amount. New plans use credits while active legacy plans can retain prior metering under the July 30 rules.
• Kimi Moonshot Together draw — The September 20 rules, checked October 7, require a paid-subscription invite within 24 hours for every new chance. Prizes are Go-equivalent credits; old chances and awards retain their earlier rules; AIHackers publishes no Kimi referral link and redemption remains not-run.

Capacity Promotions

Claude Code baseline change, not an active promotion: the same vendor notice says weekly limits are 25% above the pre-promotion baseline from September 14 for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise. This is not 25% on top of the former 50% boost. See the capacity guide for scope; no account-level capacity was tested.

The old September 20 coding boosts are historical. The September 27 OpenCode Go check records a current allowance listing without assuming a promotional end date or permanent renewal benefit. Command Code’s earlier boost has not been revalidated. Check current terms before buying.
